Water Utilities Laborer

Full Time Year Round
This position is responsible to work under direct supervision of the Manager/Supervisor in operating and maintaining the entire water supply and distribution system. The Laborer is responsible to perform in daily routine checks of the entire water system. This includes water testing and sampling, understanding pressures, equipment/ building maintenance, electronic repair as well as maintaining and repairing the system as needed. The jobs requires the employees to have a professional manner, computer and record keeping skills, and also the ability to do physical labor. Tasks may require, but are not limited to hand shoveling earth and snow, lifting and operating equipment and supplies in excess of 60lbs, climbing stairs/ladders and rugged, steep and icy ground.

Wedding Sales Manager and Ski Group Service Coordinator

This is a new position that combines two seasonal jobs into a single, year-round position.  The first part of this person’s responsibility is to manage all aspects of the wedding sales process to deliver on sales goals and growth.  This person will also be at the wedding events and called upon to help the wedding service manager during busy times of the year.  Additionally, this person will service ski groups during the winter season while still maintaining wedding sales responsibilities.  The position will require the employee to be in the office regularly and service a series of complex products and services.  The successful candidate will need to work closely with the sales and marketing staff, along with third-party vendors, to deliver a great experience to both our wedding and lodging winter guests.  This position will require weekend, holiday and late night hours.

A successful candidate for this position will have direct selling experience (preferably in wedding sales or hospitality) and be ready to deliver on annual sales goals.  This is a benefited position and based on 48 weeks of employment annually.  The job pays hourly with lucrative sales incentives.  With sales success, this job position will become a salaried position.

Photographer

Sugarloaf is looking to improve its guest’s vacation booking experience by offering a comprehensive online catalogue of photographs of all condos and town houses in its rental program.  With more than 180 units, this exciting project will be challenging and rewarding to both aspiring professional photographers and those looking to expand their current portfolio.

 

The candidate must be proficient with the use of photography equipment including DSLR, interior lighting and photo editing software.  The successful candidate must work closely with housekeeping staff to ensure properties to be photographed are vacant and cleaned prior to shooting.  This project will begin in July and be completed late August.  Candidate will be responsible for photographing, editing, and cataloging the lodging properties in the Sugarloaf rental program.  Photos will need to include both the exterior and all interior rooms of all condos and town houses.  As photos begin to be completed and ready for use, you will need to be working closely with reservation staff and the web developer so that an online catalogue of photos can begin to take shape.

Zip Line Guide

Part Time Seasonal

Guide groups through the zip line course.  Candidate must be able to do some hiking to and around course area.  Guides will also do daily safety checks of lines and basic maintenance. Candidates must be 18 year olds, and willing to work on the weekends.

Lift Mechanic Technician

Full Time, Year Round

Sugarloaf is now accepting applications for a full time year round Lift Mechanic Technician.  Three (3) plus years of experience with lift maintenance preferred.  Lift  Mechanics install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot lift equipment as well as assist lift operations with the start up and shut down of the lifts daily.  They work at great heights, in all weather conditions, at any time of the day or night.  Applicant must be familiar with low voltage, wiring and electrical system trouble shooting, all lift mechanical systems, NDT and ANSI B77.  Experience working with high speed quads, moving carpets preferred.  Applicant must also be willing to work with cleaning solvents, greases, oils, other flammables and combustibles.  Lift Mechanics work under the supervision of the  Lift Director and the Lift Maintenance Manager but must be able to work independently in the absence of supervision and respond appropriately when immediate action is required
