The 4th annual Banked Slalom returns to Sugarloaf in March. Check out one of the coolest snowboard-only race events in New England, complete with sponsor swag, registration parties, two-days of racing and lobster trophies. Don't miss out!
Bud Light Presents Popa Chubby
The Bud Light Uncovered Series presents Popa Chubby live in the Widowmaker Lounge on Saturday, March 15. As an imposing blues figure with a shaven head, tattooed arms, a goatee and a performance style he describes as "the Stooges meets Buddy Guy, Motörhead meets Muddy Waters, and Jimi Hendrix meets Robert Johnson," Popa Chubby is an endearing character who is one of blues musics most popular figures.
Sugarloaf Winter Triathlon 20K
Baxter Outdoors and Sugarloaf have teamed up to present the first ever Sugarloaf Winter Triathlon at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center! Come enjoy the beautiful Sugarloaf Outdoor Center with miles of Nordic terrain and beautiful views of Sugarloaf Mountain. The Winter Triathlon 20k is a multi discipline 3-person relay race. Each team will be required to complete a 10km nordic ski leg, a 5km snowshoe leg, and a 5k snow run. Teams will designate one racer per leg. Visit the Event Page link for more info!
2014 Snowmaker's Ball
Join the Sugarloaf staff in celebrating the conclusion of another great winter season with their annual Snowmaker's Ball in Widowmaker Lounge on Wed, April 2nd at 8:30 pm. As one of the only chances to see a majority of the Sugarloaf community in their semi-quasi-formal attire, you don't want to miss this great party! This event requires formal attire and is FREE and open to the public. 21+ only.
26th Annual Bud Light Reggae Fest
Hands down, Reggae Fest is the biggest party in ski country. Now in its 26th year, the Bud Light Reggae Fest is not to be missed. Book your lodging now and a full schedule will be available in February.
East Coast Pond Skimming Championships
The East Coast Pond Skimming Championship is the most important sporting event to take place anywhere in the East. Just kidding... but they are super entertaining, so grab your garb and get weird as you slide and splash across our frigid lake. Full details on the event coming in March.
32nd Annual Sugarloaf Marathon & 15K
Now in its 32nd year, the Sugarloaf Marathon is Maine's oldest continuously run marathon, drawing hundreds of runners from all over the U.S. and Eastern Canada each year. Despite the mountainous surrounding, Sugarloaf's course is widely known as a fast course. The final 16 miles of the course have an elevation loss of 980 feet.
