The job includes all aspects of keeping the hotel clean including room attendant, janitorial and laundry attendant duties. Must be able to do very physical work including being able to lift 30 lbs, push heavy carts, repetitive tugging, pulling, pushing, lifting and standing. Must work weekends and holidays. This job pays minimum wages plus incentive.

Marketing Sales & Service

Group and Conference Reservation Specialist

Full Time Year Round

Coordinator of conference and group reservations and systems between the sales account managers and the conference or group organizers to ensure quality guest experience. Responsible for group reservation management, creating rates and packages in Springer Miller, coordinating inventory management and yields within the sales office.  Responsible for providing a high level of customer service through interaction with group organizers and participants in the conference and leisure markets as well as the sales account managers and call center staff.  Also responsible for maintaining and improving system efficiencies and communication methods between sales office; telesales office; front desk and conference/group service team. This postion gets incentive based on meeting goals.

 


Resort Sales Representative

Full Time Seasonal

Work in Sugarloaf's call center selling lodging packages and various resort amenities. Detailed position with phone, sales, computer/typing and email skills required. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word needed. Must be able to multi-task and like working with people. Required to sit for long periods of time and work in busy call center. Sales incentives, prize incentives and resort benefits offered.


Mountain Operations

Lift Maintenance Manager

Full Time Year Round

Sugarloaf is seeking a lift maintenance manager to inspect, test, monitor, maintain and repair ski lift machinery and components, tools and buildings to ensure safe and efficient lift operation at all times. This position manages the daily work of Lift Maintenance crew members and must have strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure the department is a success as a team.  Candidates will be responsible for leading department in ensuring the safety and reliability of our ski lifts. Extensive mechanical and electrical experience required (includes ANSI) as well as the ability to troubleshoot in those areas.   Must have widespread knowledge of fixed and detachable lifts and rigging. Must have an understanding of general lift construction and the ability to operate heavy equipment.  Requires the ability to plan and execute projects within a developed budget. This is an outside job that requires work in all weather conditions as well as work on weekends, holidays and nights as required. Sugarloaf has position for an electrician with 3+ years fixed grip and detachable experience. Candidate must be a team player, as well as be able to work alone and unsupervised.  Must display good initiative, pay attention to detail, have problem solving skills and self-control and be very safety conscious. Candidate must have knowledge of mechanical equipment, heavy rigging, line work, AC/DC drives, low voltage electrical control circuits, and hydraulic systems. This position requires working at heights in extreme weather conditions and the ability to ski or snowboard.
