Summer Groundskeeper - Full Time Seasonal
Works as part of a team to deliver quality services to Sugarloaf property owners. These services include lawn mowing, weed trimming, pruning, raking, general clean-up, drainage projects, installing bark mulch, and more. Seeking organized, detail orientated, self-motivated, enthusiastic team player to join the Building Maintenance Team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Performing basic maintenance on plumbing, electrical, appliances, furniture, and general building maintenance trades. Must understand oral and written directions. Must be able to work alone, work safely and have the ability to operate basic hand and power tools. Must Pass security screening prior to hiring. Must have reliable vehicle and hold valid drivers license. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Sugarloaf Mountain is seeking a Director of Food and Beverage with resort industry experience to join the Sugarloaf senior management team. The Director of the Food & Beverage division is responsible for directing and motivating the managers of the resort restaurants, cafeterias and banquet services teams to increase resort revenues and guest experience.
Essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and effectively manage business plans and budgets for the Food & Beverage Division aimed at increasing revenues.
Be able to identify industry trends and opportunities to develop the Sugarloaf reputation for quality resort dining experiences.
Be responsible for training and supervision of managers of outlets on Sugarloaf brand, corporate standards of customer service, policies, safety and laws.

Full and Part Time Seasonal
Sugarloaf is looking for experienced full time and part time cooks to join the food and beverage team. Cooks are responsible for preparation and presentation of a variety of menu items as directed by the kitchen or unit supervisor. You must have knowledge and ability to use a variety of standard kitchen equipment, as well as practice safe food handling practices. Required is the ability to stand for long periods of time, available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain composure and professionalism during pressure situations from high business levels and time constraints.

Full Time Summer Seasonal
Prospective Team Members must be in good physical fitness and able to hike 2-3 miles carrying 50lbs. Work duties include chainsaw, brushsaw, and/or polesaw operation as well as other trail maintenance duties including erosion control practice. Previous chainsaw operating experience is preferred, but not mandatory. All hires will go through our own chainsaw safety course. Prospective Team Members must be team and safety oriented and have reliable transportation. Work schedule is Mon-Thurs, 10 hr days, with flexibility to work around the weather. Starting pay is $10.
Lift Mechanic Technician

Maintain, repair and assist in the operation of chairlifts by completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions and performing training to operators. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensures proper operation of chairlifts and personnel by completing preventative maintenance of APU's, electric motors and line gear following manufacturers' maintenance manuals; troubleshooting malfunctions and training personnel in the proper operation. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; and checking for overheating. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using come-a-longs, cranes, heavy equipment, rigging, hand and power tools; examining and diagnosing cause of failure and correcting the condition. Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventory and conserves resources by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate equipment, parts and supplies and using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Prepares operational and maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information. Maintains technical knowledge and continuity.

Part-Time (Year Round)
NOTE: Office hours for support personnel are 8:30 to 5:00. It is necessary for support to be on time (it is the responsibility of the office support to open and close daily). Staff needs to be flexible as more time is required at peak periods. This part-time position is 2-3 days per week. It includes weekends (every other), possibly some mid-week days, as well as being available for busy periods i.e. homecoming, vacation weeks, etc.
Individual needs to be self-motivated with experience in an office environment. Possess the ability to multi-task, be flexible, and be able to organize and prioritize workload. Read and adhere to Boyne/Sugarloaf and Mountainside Real Estate policies and procedures. Applicant also needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office; Access, Excel, Power Point and Word. A knowledge of Indesign CS6 and Photoshop are a plus!
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Reception & basic office duties to include answering phones, greeting customers/ clients, directing individuals and calls to sales staff to maintain rotation schedule and monitoring traffic. NOTE: Be lively, energetic, smile and bend over backwards to help customers. Know the rotation schedule before customers come in or call. Multi-task. Politely, put someone on hold to answer another call, or greet a walk-in.
