For just about all of us, running races with distances of the marathon-magnitude take a great deal of training and discipline. Register early and develop a training schedule and plan that works best for you.
Registration for the 2015 Sugarloaf Marathon and 15K has officially closed for this year. The deadline for registration was May 1, 2015 by 5:00 pm. Registration for the 2016 race will open in Sept 2015.
There will be no on site, day-of registration; all participants must pre-register.
If you'd like to switch the race that you've registered for or defer your registration to the 2016 race, you may do so until Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 3:00 pm via e-mail or phone. Bib tranfers will not be permitted. Additionally, any runners who deferred to the 2015 race from their 2014 registration, must contact race organizers to confirm that registration before the race adjustment deadline above.
Check-In/Bib Pickup at Sugarloaf
Marathon & 15K check-in and race-bib pickup will be held in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge on Saturday, May 16, 2015 (the afternoon before the race) from 3-8pm. All unclaimed Marathon bib numbers will be brought to the start line and are available for pick-up between 6-6:30am only; unclaimed 15k bib numbers will be available at the 15k start line from 6:15-7am. This late bib pick-up is only applicable to pre-registered runners. We will not be assigning vacant bibs to new runners at either of these locations.
Refunds for the Sugarloaf Marathon and 15K will not be honored. If a runner cannot make the race for whatever reason, they have the option of pushing their registration to the next year of the event by e-mailing race organizers. Also, racers will not be credited for a switch from the marathon to the 15K. We apologize for the inconvenience, but in case we sell out, which is likely, we want to make sure everyone has a fair chance to receive a race bib. If a runner cannot attend the race, bib transfers will not be permitted to other runners. Each runner has a choice to defer only.
