For just about all of us, running races with distances of the marathon-magnitude take a great deal of training and discipline. Register early and develop a training schedule and plan that works best for you.
Registration for the 2016 race will open on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Registration will close on May 1, 2016.

Please note, there will be no on site, day-of registration; all participants must pre-register.
All adjustments to races must be completed by May 1, 2016, no matter what. No race switches, defers or bib exchanges will be accepted after this point.
Race switches will be allowed until May 1, 2016. Racers will not be credited for a switch from the marathon to the 15K and will be charged the entry fee difference for switching up to the marathon. Race up-charge fees will be determined by the date of the race switch, per the tiered entry fees (outlined above). Follow the link below to change races.
Race deferrals will be accepted for a $20 fee until May 1, 2016. Racers who defer MUST register themselves for the following year's event. No automatic registration for the following year is provided. No deferrals will accepted after this point. Follow the link below to access your racer profile and process your race deferral.
Registered racers can choose to exchange their bib to another runner, if they desire too. The original registrant will receive a refund for the race bib, when the new registrant regitsers for the race. Sugarloaf or Run Sign Up do not provide suggestions of peoploe who are willing to do a bib exchange, that's the responsibility of the original registrant. Original registrants will need to log into their Run Sign Up profile to process the bib exchange. Follow the link below.
Check-In/Bib Pickup at Sugarloaf
Marathon & 15K check-in and race-bib pickup will be held in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge on Saturday, May 16, 2015 (the afternoon before the race) from 3-8pm. All unclaimed Marathon bib numbers will be brought to the start line and are available for pick-up between 6-6:30am only; unclaimed 15k bib numbers will be available at the 15k start line from 6:15-7am. This late bib pick-up is only applicable to pre-registered runners. We will not be assigning vacant bibs to new runners at either of these locations.
Complete refunds for registrered races are not offered. Each runner has two choices, they can either defer their registration to the following year, or execute a bib exchange with an un-registered racer. See the details for both of these options above.
