Après shows are free for all ages and the evening shows will be ticketed for 21+ only. Ticket holders can migrate between both venues which are located in the Sugarloaf Base Lodge, but please note The Widowmaker may have a wait due to reaching capacity earlier than the King Pine Room.

John K's Furthurmore brings a fresh yet authentic twist to the legacy of Grateful Dead-inspired music. Fronted by the legendary John Kadlecik—a co-founder of Dark Star Orchestra (DSO), a key member of Furthur, and a veteran of Melvin Seals & JGB—the band weaves together decades of expertise, passion, and improvisational brilliance.

The lineup features a powerhouse ensemble of seasoned musicians:

  • Jimbo Harris (Playing Dead), whose soulful vocals and guitar work bring vibrant energy to every song.
  • Kevin Roper (Rose Alley), a keyboardist with a rich, expressive style that channels the spirit of the Dead's exploratory soundscapes.
  • Reed Mathis (Billy & The Kids), a bassist renowned for his dynamic grooves and ability to push musical boundaries.
  • Cotter Ellis (Goose, Dead Set), a percussionist who fuses rhythmic precision with an adventurous edge, keeping the heartbeat of the band alive.

Based in southern Maine, Rose Alley toes the line of Garcia authenticity while re-creating and re-imagining the diverse song catalog he pulled from. High energy jams, rich instrumentation, exploratory improvisation and vocal harmonies bring this tribute to a new realm of the JGB experience that is bringing people back time and time again!

Funking up the Music of Jerry Garcia & The Grateful Dead Sometimes there is this urge to say…FUNK JERRY! Well we said it and we have owned it by creating a full on funky dance party with the songs of Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead. Sure, there’s a little bit of funk in there naturally. But we are also finding the funk in some songs that are completely unexpected. Funk around and find out! Featuring members of Twiddle, Pink Talking Fish, San Souci JGB & Marble Eyes

Brown Eyed Women is an ensemble of powerful female players from popular bands around the country, celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead with a unique spin. Members hail from Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania. Their high-caliber musicianship and shared love of the Dead drew them together. This band is decidedly different in a field brimming with tribute acts. BEW brings authentic jams and a soulful new approach to the familiar Grateful Dead catalog.
